Setting up their stall under the brand “Feroshti,” the students displayed an attractive range of handmade products including crochet items, handmade flowers, purses, hair accessories, and other artistic creations. Their stall drew significant attention for its craftsmanship, uniqueness, and aesthetic appeal. The students are running their own online startup under the same brand name and earning while learning the skills at the college.
The exhibition featured around 50 stalls, bringing together women students, alumni, and employees who showcased a wide variety of products such as ethnic wear, home décor, bakery items, and handcrafted goods.
Demonstrating strong entrepreneurial skills, the students made sales of more than ₹5,000 and earned a good profit. Their participation reflected not only creativity but also their ability to convert skills into viable business opportunities.
The event was inaugurated by Controller of Examinations Jagat Bhishan and Dr. Rawal, (DSW), who appreciated the initiative and encouraged students to pursue entrepreneurship.
The participation was part of the IEP (Institution Innovation/Entrepreneurship Promotion) Cell initiative of the college, aimed at fostering an entrepreneurial mindset among students. She emphasized that such initiatives provide valuable exposure and practical learning opportunities, enabling students to become confident and self-reliant.
