GHSC-10 Hosts a Series of Activities to Amplify the Spirit of Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign

Government Home Science College, Chandigarh, celebrated the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign on August 8, 2025, with a series of vibrant activities that ignited patriotic fervour among students and the community.

The day commenced with a spirited Tiranga Yatra, where over 43 enthusiastic NSS volunteers marched from the college premises to nearby areas, including the General Hospital, Sector-16, Chandigarh. 

Carrying the tricolour and singing patriotic songs, the volunteers spread the message of unity, pride and love for the nation.
In the later part of the day, creativity took centre stage with a Rangoli Making Competition, followed by decorating college boards with Tiranga-inspired art, adding colour and symbolism to the celebrations.

Principal Prof. Sudha Katyal commended the NSS Wing for their zeal and dedication, highlighting the importance of such activities in nurturing patriotism, pride and a sense of belonging among citizens. She noted that the national flag stands as a powerful emblem of unity and nationalism, especially inspiring the younger generation.
