GHSC-10 Organises Awareness Rally under ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan’

Government Home Science College, Sector-10, Chandigarh, organised an Awareness Rally on August 29, 2025, under ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan’, a nationwide campaign to curb drug abuse and promote a healthier, addiction-free society. The rally aimed to educate the community about the harmful consequences of substance abuse and inspire collective action towards building a drug-free nation.
With enthusiastic participation from students and NSS volunteers, the rally served as a powerful medium to sensitise the public about the devastating effects of drugs on individuals, families and society. The participants raised impactful slogans and carried placards to reinforce the message of “Say No to Drugs.”
Principal Prof. Sudha Katyal applauded the dedication of the NSS wing and the VADA Club for taking up this crucial social cause. She underscored the importance of such awareness drives in empowering youth to make informed choices and become ambassadors of positive change.
The rally concluded with a strong call to action, urging every citizen to play an active role in the fight against drug abuse and contribute to the vision of a ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat.’
