GHSC-10 NSS Volunteers Shine at Women’s Day Mashal March

NSS volunteers from Government Home Science College, Chandigarh actively participated in a Mashal Lighting and Awareness Campaign at Sector 17, Chandigarh, marking International Women’s Day on March 06, 2026.
Centered around the theme “Nasha Mukt Sankalp Hamara,” the event aimed to promote a drug-free society.
The campaign began with a symbolic mashal lighting ceremony, followed by enthusiastic public participation. The event concluded with a collective pledge for a Nasha Mukt Bharat, encouraging individuals to stay drug-free and spread awareness.
The initiative reflected the strong commitment of youth towards social responsibility and nation-building.

Principal Prof. Sudha Katyal appreciated the efforts of the volunteers and highlighted the importance of such initiatives in building awareness and responsible citizenship. She encouraged students to continue contributing actively to social causes.
