GHSC-10 Students Awarded with Certificates of Merit at PUAA Annual Scholarship Function

The Panjab University Alumni Association (PUAA), Chandigarh organised its Annual Scholarship Award Function on 27th February, 2026 at the Law Auditorium, Panjab University, Chandigarh to honour meritorious students for their outstanding academic achievements. The function was graced by Smt. Preeti Sudan, Former Chairman, UPSC, Government of India, as the Chief Guest. The event also had the distinguished presence of Dr. Vinod K. Paul, Member, NITI Aayog, Government of India, as the Guest of Honour.

During the ceremony, meritorious students from various departments of PU and affiliated colleges were felicitated with scholarships and certificates. From Government Home Science College, about seven students were honoured with the Certificate of Merit for Academic Excellence awarded by PUAA for the academic years 2021–22 and 2022–23. 

Principal of the college, Prof. Sudha Katyal, congratulated the students and highlighted that their achievement reflects the institution’s dedication to academic distinction and holistic development.
