GHSC-10 Students Clinch First Prize in Science Quiz at Inter College Science Fest 2026

Nancy and Niharika from M.Sc. Home Science of Government Home Science College, Chandigarh brought laurels to the institution by securing First Prize in the Science Quiz Competition at Inter College Science Fest organized by the Science Club “Neon” of PGGCG-11 on February 25, 2026. 

Centered on the themes “Women and Girls in Science” and “Fostering Public Trust in Science,” the event underscored the significance of inclusivity, innovation and credibility in advancing scientific knowledge.
Competing against teams from several reputed colleges, both the students displayed outstanding subject knowledge, sharp analytical abilities, and remarkable teamwork, ultimately clinching the top position.

Principal of the College, Prof. Sudha Katyal, congratulated the students on their commendable achievement. She remarked that their success reflects the institution’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence and its dedication to nurturing scientific temper and leadership among young scholars.
