Government Home Science College Alumni Shine at Panjab University Alumni Meet

Government Home Science College, Chandigarh, proudly marked its presence at the Panjab University Alumni Meet held on the university campus on November 1, 2025. The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Prof. Renu Vig, Vice Chancellor, Panjab University; Acharya Krishan Kant Attri; Justice Swatanter Kumar; and Ms. Yojna Ravat. The dignitaries were felicitated by Prof. Latika Sharma, Dean, Panjab University, who also delivered the welcome address.
In her inaugural address, Prof. Renu Vig highlighted the University’s remarkable achievements, including improved national and global rankings, increased research funding, and the rise of student-led startups. She also expressed heartfelt gratitude to the alumni for their continued support and contributions. Distinguished guests fondly shared their experiences and cherished memories of their time at Panjab University, creating a warm and nostalgic atmosphere. A special video message by noted alumnus Ayushmann Khurrana further added charm and inspiration to the gathering.
