Home Science Student Brought Laurels to College

Kashish, a student of  M.Sc. Foods and Nutrition, 1st Semester (Roll No. 626/25), brought laurels to Government Home Science College, Chandigarh with her commendable performance in athletics.

She participated in the Chandigarh Sub-Junior, Junior and Senior State Athletics Championship 2025, held from 28th to 31st August 2025 at the Chandigarh Sports Complex, Sector 7, Chandigarh. Competing in the 1500m race (Women, Senior Category), Kashish showcased remarkable determination and endurance, securing the 2nd Position (Silver Medal).

Principal of the college, Prof.Sudha Katyal congratulated the student and further stated that her achievement has made the college proud and serves as an inspiration for her peers to pursue excellence not only in academics but also in sports.
