Home Science College Student Honoured with Shepreneurs Award by The Times of India

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Ms. Anupreet Kaur Sobti, Ph.D. Research Scholar, Department of Foods and Nutrition, Government Home Science College, Chandigarh, was honoured with the prestigious Shepreneurs Award by The Times of India in recognition of her contributions as a successful entrepreneur for her diet clinic, Dietaura. The award celebrates women who have demonstrated leadership, innovation, and excellence in their respective field.
Receiving the award, Ms. Sobti expressed gratitude for the recognition and acknowledged the encouragement and support of the Principal and mentors of the college.
The event was graced by Ms. Gurpreet Kaur Deo, IPS, Special DGP, CAD, Punjab, who attended as the Chief Guest. The ceremony also featured Ms. Divita Juneja, Indian actress, as the Celebrity Guest, adding inspiration to the celebration of women achievers.
Principal of the college, Prof. Sudha Katyal, congratulated the student and emphasized the importance of empowering women through entrepreneurship and leadership.
