Students Showcase Creativity through their Beloved Characters

In a whirlwind of creativity, the college campus turned into a kaleidoscope of characters as the Literary Society organised its highly anticipated “Dress Like Your Favorite Character” event. From intricately detailed costumes to simple yet powerful portrayals, students celebrated their favorite stories by stepping into the shoes of iconic characters from books, movies, TV shows, and video games.
As the day unfolded, the campus buzzed with excitement as students paraded in their meticulously crafted costumes, each one a testament to their dedication and creativity. From elaborate costumes with intricate props to simple yet effective ensembles that captured the essence of beloved characters, every participant added their unique flair to the event.
The day was marked by a vibrant parade of imagination, with each participant leaving their own artistic stamp on the event. Awards were presented for standout performances: Best Overall Costume (Surekha, B.Sc. Home Science, Sem I), Best Performer (Ansha Pathania, B.Sc. Home Sci., Sem III), Most Creative Costume (B.Sc. Home Science, Sem II), and Best Group Costume (Vanshika, Khushi Ritu, Mannat and Sharda (B.Sc. Home Sci. Sem- I and II ).
Reflecting on the success, Prof. Sudha Katyal, Principal, expressed her delight at the turnout and highlighted how the event celebrated not just creativity but also the enduring joy of storytelling and imagination. She highlighted that the event not only showcased the ingenuity of students but also offered a welcome escape into the enchanting worlds of fantasy and fiction.
