Tex-Style Week 2025 Commences at GHSC-10

Government Home Science College, Sector-10, Chandigarh commenced its much-awaited Tex-Style Week with great zeal and enthusiasm on September 15, 2025. Day 1 of the celebrations featured an insightful Workshop on Rendering, conducted by the college’s distinguished alumna, Ms. Mannjot Kaur.
The workshop was exclusively organized for B.Sc. Fashion Designing 1st and 3rd semester students, with a focus on nurturing creative visualization and honing practical rendering skills along with core competencies in the field of fashion design. Drawing from her rich professional experience and creative expertise, Ms. Mannjot Kaur shared valuable tips and demonstrated hands-on techniques to help students refine their artistic abilities.
The interactive session not only enriched the students’ technical knowledge but also motivated them to explore innovative approaches to presenting design ideas. The event marked a promising beginning to Tex-Style Week, setting the stage for a series of enriching and skill-oriented activities in the days to come.
Principal of the college, Prof. Sudha Katyal, highly appreciated the efforts of the department of Clothing & Textiles for organising an insightful workshop. She further encouraged the students to actively participate upcoming activities during Tex- Style Week and make the most of opportunities provided to them by the college.
