Final Day of NSS Training for the Rural Associate Women

Government Home Science College organized a training program for Rural Associate Women which commenced on November 07, 2017. The concluding day of this 5 days NSS Program began with zest and zeal among the women associate workers. Mrs. Seema Jaitly, Asst. Professor, Government Home Science College, gave a demonstration on different art techniques and also demonstrated the audience on various techniques used for making decorative and household articles from waste. Along with this, the valedictory function was also held with great enthusiasm. Shalu from Khuda Ali Sher village described her experience of this 5 day training camp. This was followed by a dance performance by many other trainee women. Stipends were distributed amongst hardworking rural associate women by Principal of the college, Prof. Sudha Katyal. She also interacted with the trainee women workers and appreciated their enthusiasm to learn. A mesmerizing bhangra performance was given by village students. Gifts were distributed among Rural Associate Women Workers by the Principal of the college. The program ended on a happy note. Prof. Sudha Katyal applauded and appreciated the efforts in conducting the event and congratulated the NSS Wing for its success.
