GHSC-10 Celebrates Eco-Friendly & Yeh Diwali My Bharat Wali

NSS Unit of Government Home Science College, Chandigarh celebrated Eco-friendly and yeh diwali My Bharat Wali from October 27-30, 2024.
NSS Volunteers conducted Road Safety Awareness Drive, Swacchta Drive and Volunteering in controlling traffic so as to support traffic police during festival time. NSS volunteers also took anti-cracker pledge. NSS volunteers also made videos branding My Bharat and sharing through video highlighting My Bharat diwali wishes message. Around 100 volunteers participated in My Bharat Campaign.
Prof. Sudha Katyal, Principal of the college applauded the efforts of NSS Wing and inspired them to contribute towards cleaner and greener nation. She further appreciated the zeal and selfless service of NSS volunteers as they worked tirelessly during festive season in supporting the traffic police by volunteering in controlling traffic and helping patients in hospital. In her concluding remark, Prof.Katyal insisted that the college through NSS makes conscious efforts in keeping up the NSS motto, Not Me, But You by working selflessly for the society and nation at large. She also lauded NSS volunteers for significantly contributing towards My Bharat Diwali Campaign.
