GHSC-10 Celebrates National Voter’s Day

Government Home Science College, Sector-10, Chandigarh, celebrates National Voter's Day on January 25, 2025, with great enthusiasm. The event featured a poster-making and slogan-writing competition, centered around the theme "Nothing like voting, I vote for sure." The celebration also included a Voter's Pledge, accompanied by the song "Mai Bharat Hoon."Over 100 NSS volunteers and students actively participated in the event, demonstrating their commitment to the democratic process. Principal of the college, Prof. Sudha Katyal commended the efforts of the Electoral Literacy Club and NSS Wing, highlighting the significance of National Voter's Day. She emphasized that the celebration aims to encourage youth to participate in the electoral process with zeal and dedication, promoting informed and responsible citizenship.
