GHSC-10 Conducted Extension programme on Green Building Awareness and Adoption

Students of Government Home Science College of B.Sc.Home Science 6th semester IDRM conducted an extension programme  in D.A.V. College, Sector 10 and Panjab University, Sector 14, Chandigarh where awareness program on 'Green Building  and adoption ' was performed. The participants were made to fill a  survey questionnaire on the same topic on February 28th, 2025 to assess their knowledge about the concept of green building. On the basis of inferences, an awareness was done on March 11, 2025 in small groups through interactive session, using flash cards  showcasing  information about Green Building, their importance and ways to incorporate green building practices in their homes and much more. Approximately 130 college students voluntarily participated in the programme.  Principal of the college Prof. Sudha Katyal encouraged the college students to continue with such efforts in spreading awareness.
