GHSC-10  Holds Pledge-Taking Ceremony to Mark Historic Parliamentary Resolution

Government Home Science College, Chandigarh, organized a solemn pledge-taking ceremony on February 22, 2025 to commemorate the anniversary of the historic resolution passed by the Indian Parliament on February 22, 1994. The resolution reaffirmed the nation's unwavering commitment to the integrity of India and its stance on reclaiming occupied territories.During the ceremony  students gathered to pledge their dedication to national unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. The event aimed to instill a sense of patriotism and awareness about the significance of the resolution in safeguarding India's national interests.Principal of the college, Prof. Sudha Katyal highlighted the importance of remembering and upholding the principles enshrined in the resolution. She further emphasised that such initiatives serve as a reminder of India's firm resolve to protect its sovereignty and inspire the younger generation to remain steadfast in their duty towards the nation.
