GHSC-10 NSS Volunteers Participate in 10-Day Adventure Camp at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Mountaineering, Manali

NSS volunteers from Government Home Science College, Chandigarh, took part in a 10-day Adventure Camp organized at the prestigious Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports, Manali from March 19-29, 2025. A total of 45 NSS volunteers from various colleges across Chandigarh were selected for this enriching experience.The camp provided participants with valuable insights into the challenges and rewards of outdoor adventure, emphasizing the importance of teamwork, discipline, resilience, and leadership. Volunteers were briefed on safety protocols and the objectives of the camp before being systematically divided into groups to encourage collaboration and streamline their training sessions.Through this immersive experience, the volunteers not only pushed their physical limits but also developed a deeper understanding of personal growth, group dynamics, and environmental awareness.Prof. Sudha Katyal, Principal of the college, applauded the spirit and enthusiasm of the NSS volunteers and encouraged them to continue participating in such transformative experiences that promote holistic development and leadership skills.
