GHSC-10 Organised Pledge Taking Against Drug Abuse

As per the instructions of DoSJE to organise a country-wide mass pledge against Drugs on August 10, 2024, Victory Against Drug Abuse Club of Government Home Science College, Sector-10, Chandigarh organised Pledge taking ceremony to make the college and its premises free from Drug Abuse & Use by the students under the theme of “Viksit Bharat ka Mantra, Bharat Ho Nashe Se Swatantra”.

Students were made aware of the mandate of the VADA Club and encouraged to participate in the upcoming events of the club. Around 50 students took the pledge to contribute their part in making their college premises, Chandigarh and nation drug- free. Principal of the College, Prof. Sudha Katyal applauded the efforts of VADA Club and insisted students to participate significantly in all the events as their contribution will go a long way in fighting against this evil.
