GHSC-10 Organizes Awareness Rally Ahead of National Voter’s Day

As a prelude to National Voter’s Day, Government Home Science College (GHSC-10), Chandigarh, organized an awareness rally on January 22, 2025, in the areas surrounding the college. The initiative aimed to educate and inspire the public about the importance of voting.Around 100 NSS volunteers participated in the rally, enthusiastically raising slogans such as "Nothing like voting, I vote for sure" to highlight the significance of active participation in the electoral process.Prof. Sudha Katyal, Principal of the College, commended the efforts of the Electoral Literacy Club and the NSS Wing for their dedication. She emphasized that National Voter’s Day is celebrated to encourage and facilitate voter registration, particularly among young citizens, and to promote their active involvement in shaping a vibrant democracy with enthusiasm and commitment.
