GHSC-10 Student Shines at Chandigarh Athletics Championship, Wins Silver and Bronze

Government Home Science College, Sector-10, Chandigarh, proudly celebrates the remarkable sporting achievement of its student Kashish, M.Sc. Food & Nutrition, Semester III, who brought laurels to the institution at the Chandigarh Junior, Sub-Junior and Under-23 Athletics Championship 2026-27.The championship was held from August 25 to August 27, 2026, at the Sports Complex, Sector 7-B, Chandigarh. Demonstrating exceptional athletic ability, determination and sporting spirit, Kashish secured Silver Medal in the 800-metre event and Bronze Medal in the 400-metre event.

Her outstanding performance reflects her dedication, perseverance and commitment towards excellence in sports, while successfully balancing her academic pursuits.Principal Prof. Sudha Katyal congratulated Kashish on her commendable achievement and expressed pride in her accomplishment. She appreciated the student’s hard work, discipline and dedication, stating that such achievements bring immense pride to the college and inspire other students to pursue excellence in both academics and co-curricular activities.
