Happiness Week Celebration (September 11-16, 2017) DAY 2 (12th September, 2017) – CLOWNS' DAY

The second day of the HAPPINESS WEEK witnessed a day full of fun and excitement by the CLOWNS all over the college. The students of the Department of Human Development and Family Relations turned into clowns in colourful and funky outfits with funny and attractive props. They could be seen playing around, and doing pranks with whosoever they met in and outside the rooms and office, Chaitanya Laboratory Nursery School and were busy spreading laughter.The clowning activities started the moment students and teachers entered the college in the morning.The activity broke the monotony of the otherwise busy routine that sometimes take a toll on them. These clowns from B.Sc. HDFR 3rd Semester, M.Sc. HDFR (1st and 3rd Semester) and Post Graduate Diploma in Child Guidance and Family Counselling acted as stress busters for many and in this life, full of hustle and bustle made them realize that life is much more beyond this. Not only the students but even the faculty members of the department and other teachers of the college were seen enjoying with the clowns. The clowns kept the Principal of the college, Prof Sudha Katyal busy by hugging her and making sweet gestures. She appreciated the initiative of the students turned clowns. The activity indeed suggested celebrating each day of life and turning each moment into contagious happiness.
