Festival of Colours was celebrated today in Home Science College with great enthusiasm. Colourful, vibrant & lively decoration was done by B.Sc. H.Sc. IDRM students.The event started by welcoming Prof.Sudha Katyal, Principal of the college along with teaching & non-teaching staff. Prof. Katyal inaugurated the celebrations by lighting the lamp and offering her prayers to Lord Krishna & Devi Radha.Students as young entrepreneurs displayed their skills and talents by putting up a number of stalls which included organic colours, huge variety of nutritious munchies & snacks , Thandai, Cotton candy, Ice-gola, Chana kulcha, Dahi bhala, Bhel-puri, Italian and Chinese dishes etc.Students gave mesmerising dance performances. A huge footfall was seen during the event. It was a day full of fun, frolic, dancing and creativity. Principal of the college, Prof. Sudha Katyal congratulated the students for putting up a great show and showcasing their skills and expertise thereby making an event a great success.She further applauded the efforts of the students and motivated them to‘Earn While They Learn’.
