Home Science Students bagged Prizes in Youth Festival

The students of Government Home Science College bagged many prizes in various competitions of Music and Fine Arts held on the first day of Zonal Youth and Heritage Festival held at Dev Samaj College for Women Sector 45, Chandigarh on October 3, 2018. In Music, the college secured IIIrd position in theBhajan category. The Bhajan team of the college comprised of Arpita from M.Sc (CT) Ist semester,Mansi,Samridhi, Rhythm and Mrinalni respectively of B.Sc (H.Sc) IIIrd Semester, Parwaz and Devakshi of B.Sc (H.Sc) Ist Semester. In the category of Fine Arts, Rashmita of B.Sc (H.Sc) IIIrd Semester won IInd prize in poster making and IIIrd prize in clay modeling. Priyanka of B.Sc (H.Sc) Ist Semester bagged IIIrd prize in Collage making. Principal Professor Sudha Katyal congratulated the winners and mentors of the team.
