Innovative Protein-Packed Recipe Delight Visitors at Poshan Maah Cafeteria

In line with the theme of Poshan Maah for promoting healthy and nutritious eating, the students of Post Graduate Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics at Government Home Science College, Chandigarh, introduced an innovative and protein-packed recipe at their special cafeteria event. The star of the day was a wholesome dish of wheat-based Papad topped with protein-rich Chana Dal, tangy chutneys, and fresh chopped vegetables. The dish aimed to emphasize the importance of protein in daily diets, especially as part of the ongoing Poshan Maah celebrations, which focus on improving nutritional awareness and food choices. The cafeteria attracted a large number of visitors, who appreciated the unique recipe and the students' creative take on incorporating nutrition into traditional flavors. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Principal, Prof. Sudha Katyal, encouraged the students to continue exploring new ways to blend health with tradition, helping to raise awareness about the importance of balanced diets for overall health and wellness.
