International Youth Day Celebrations

NSS wing of Government Home Science Collage celebrated International Youth Day on 12.08.2017. Prof. Gaurav Gaur was the speaker for the day. He gave us a totally different vision of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan. He emphasized on the theme Swacch Bharat & motivated all the NSS volunteers to keep the Institution clean and green. He shared many inspirational videos which conveyed very impressive messages for keeping the environment clean. He made the students to rethink the whole idea of a clean India. He emphasized on the importance of not using plastic and polythene bags. In his concluding remarks he considered plastic bags as the culprit and mentioned that if plastic or polythene won't be there, than the issue itself will be solved. He also suggested the audience to tackle the root cause of all those issues which are polluting the environment and requested everyone to implement good practices for making our environment more friendly to live in. His talk inspired all the NSS volunteers to bring their thought into action. Students also took pledge to keep the country and surroundings clean. Principal of the college Prof. Sudha Katyal appreciated the whole event and motivated the students to keep the environment more clean and green.
