National Science Day Celebrations at GHSC-10 ChandigarhÂ

Government Home Science College, Chandigarh, celebrated National Science Day on March 18, 2025, with great zeal and enthusiasm. The event revolved around the inspiring theme “Empowering Indian Youth for Global Leadership in Science and Innovation for " Viksit Bharat."The college's Science Club, ‘Pragya’, organised a variety of creative and educational inter-college activities for students. The celebration featured a Science Exhibition, Slogan Writing, Flower Pot Making, Scitoon Creation, Scientific Rangoli, T-shirt Painting, and a Science Quiz. Sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology & Renewable Energy, Chandigarh Administration, the event attracted participation from over 150 students across various colleges from the tricity. Their ingenuity and creativity were on full display, making the event a vibrant success.Prof. Sudha Katyal, Principal of the college, commended the ‘Pragya’ team for their dedicated efforts in organizing such an inspiring celebration. She praised the participants for their enthusiasm and creativity, emphasizing the vital role of nurturing scientific curiosity and innovation among students. Prof. Katyal also encouraged the continuation of such initiatives to inspire future generations to contribute meaningfully to the nation's scientific and technological advancement.
