National Space Day Celebrations at GHSC-10, Chandigarh

The Science Club "Pragya" of Government Home Science College, Chandigarh, celebrated National Space Day with great enthusiasm, focusing on the theme "Touching Lives While Touching the Moon: Indian Space Saga." on August 23, 2024. The event highlighted India's remarkable achievements in space exploration and its impact on everyday life.The celebrations featured a series of creative and educational intracollege events amongst students of various classes. The event witnessed Poster Making Competition, Collage Making, Slogan Writing, and a Space Exhibition. Students showcased their talent and knowledge, bringing to life the fascinating journey of India's space program, from early missions to the latest advancements in lunar exploration. More than 100 students participated in various events. Principal of the college, Prof. Sudha Katyal, applauded the efforts of the Pragya team for organizing such an inspiring event. She also appreciated the enthusiasm and creativity displayed by all participants, emphasizing the importance of fostering scientific curiosity and innovation among students. Prof. Katyal further encouraged the continuation of such initiatives to inspire future generations to contribute to the nation's scientific and technological progress.
