Observance of Shaheedi Diwas at Home Science College

NSS Wing of Government Home Science College under the valuable guidance of worthy Principal of the college, Prof.Sudha Katyal, conducted a host of activities to observe Shaheedi Diwas on 23.03.2022. The day started with NSS Voluntan eers participated in a rally raising those  slogans which were raised by Shadheed Bhagat Singh. Subsequently, Volunteers attended Online Session organized by Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, in which Hon’ble Minister Sh.Anuragh Thakur interacted with NSS Volunteers in an live interaction on Shaheedi Diwas. NSS Volunteers also made beautiful posters on the life of Bhagat Singh. Principal of the College, Prof. Sudha Katyal emphasized on inculcating a sense of patriotism among NSS Volunteers by highlighting the significance of Shaheedi Diwas and highlighted about the sacrifices of brave lives of our freedom fighters. She also urged the volunteers to contribute their part in making their country proud by becoming a responsible citizen and not to forget the sacrifices being made by these freedom fighters to make our country free and independent.
