ONE DAY PIDILITE ART WORKSHOP 15.10.22

As a part of TEX-STYLE Week by the Panache Club of clothing and textiles department of Government Home Science College, a pidilte fevicryl workshop was organised in the department for the students of B. sc Fashion Designing, M. Sc. CT and Post Graduate Diploma in Fashion Designing. In this workshop the students were taught different fabric art techniques related to home decor. The workshop was taken by expert fevicryl teacher Ms. Jaya Duggal in which she taught patchwork and applique work with no-sew technique on cushion cover, sling bag, tote bag and garments. The students enthusiastically participated in the workshop. She also showcased a variety of articles made using different fevicryl products like wallpanels, coasters, mandala, decoupage, mirror art, jute decor, embroideries and many more.Principal of the college, Prof Sudha Katyal encouraged the students to develop their creative skills and to come up with more such innovative ideas in designing of fabric and it's manipulation and also to create the best out of the available material.
