Participation in PU Rose Festival

The ART Department of Government Home Science College participated in P.U. Rose Festival, Chandigarh from 9th – 11th February. Students of B.Sc. H.Sc. 2nd year presented an artistic display of handwork with a professional touch like painted pots, dupattas, Bedsheet murals, Mirrors, Paper Bags, File folders etc. The products got a tremendous response at the event. The highlight was the set up of stalls for Tattoo, Mehendi and Braiding. A Selfie corner was also created which attracted a number of people around. Principal of the college, Prof. Sudha Katyal, applauded the students for their enthusiastic participation and appreciable hardwork.
