Poshan Maah Celebration Features Nutritious Iron-Rich Recipe at Home Science College

The Department of Foods and Nutrition at Government Home Science College, Chandigarh, continued its Poshan Maah celebrations with the special cafeteria put up by students of Post Graduate Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics offering nutritious iron-rich recipe—vegetable pasta. Students showcased their innovative culinary skills by preparing a healthy version of pasta, developing nutritious pasta sauce that made the dish wholesome and also delicious for people of all age groups. The students demonstrated that nutritious recipes can be both healthy and flavorful, dispelling the myth that healthy food compromises on taste. The cafeteria witnessed a large footfall, with visitors appreciating the creative approach to nutrition and the delicious twist. Principal of the college, prof. Sudha Katyal, highly appreciated the students for their hard work and innovative approach to nutrition. She praised their efforts in creating a dish that not only met high nutritional standards but also appealed a wide audience.
