PRIZES GALORE FOR HOME SCIENCE COLLEGE AT ZONAL YOUTH FEST

The students of Government Home Science College bagged number of prizes in various competitions of Zonal Youth & Heritage Festival held at Panjab University, Sector-14, Chandigarh from October 21-25, 2024. The students of the college won various prizes in different categories. In Music items, the college won Third prize in Geet. In the category of Fine Arts, college won Second prize in collage making, Third prize in still life, installation and rangoli. In Heritage items, college maintained its tradition by winning a chain of prizes starting from Second prize in knitting, khiddo and dasuti followed by Third prize in bagh embroidery and crochet respectively. In the category of literary items the college bagged second prize in elocution. 

The students of the college showcased their talent by performing brilliantly. It is noteworthy to mention that our students competed splendidly with their competitors having all the departmental and mentoring facilities. Principal of the college, Prof. Sudha Katyal, congratulated the winners and highly appreciated the efforts of students and their mentors for their extreme hard work and dedication.
