Talent of Home Science Students galore in Rangoli Competition in different Inter-College events

The students of Govt. Home Science College participated in Rangoli Competition held on 26th February 2020 during Euphoria 2020 of Govt. Medical College, Sec-32, Chandigarh and brought laurels for our college. Alka Badyal student of M.Sc. HDFR 1st year, Akanksha Rakheja and Prachi Bansal from B.Sc. H.Sc. 2nd year won 1st prize in the competition. Principal Dr. Sudha Katyal congratulated the students and motivated them to participate passionately in such competitions.
The students of Govt. Home Science College participated and showcased their creative skills in Rangoli making Competition during Rose Festival held on 28th February 2020 at Rose Garden, Chandigarh. Namita and Riya, students of B.Sc. Home Science 3rd year IDRM won 1st and 2nd prize respectively in Rangoli with flowers category. Akanksha Rakheja from B.Sc. Home Science 2nd year won 1st prize in Rangoli with eco-friendly material category. Principal Dr. Sudha Katyal applauded the students and encouraged them to participate avidly in these competitions.
