Textile Week Organized in Government Home Science College

Textile week was organized in Government Home Science College by the Panache Club of Department of Clothing & Textiles. Various competitions like embroidering a handkerchief, paper bag making, T-Shirt painting, coaster making and heritage items were held. Students showcased their talent in vivacious areas of their interest. Judgement was done by experts from the field. Principal, Govt. Home Science College Dr. Sudha Katyal appreciated the efforts of the students and motivated them to take full advantage of technical skills being provided to them so as to become successful entrepreneurs in future. Anupriya of B.Sc. FD 3rd year, Suman of B.Sc. ATD, Ekta M.Sc.(CT),Pallavi Gupta of M.Sc. (CT),Amandeep of B.Sc. FD 1st year and Shivani Bisht of B.Sc. FD2nd year bagged first prizes in different categories.
