Thrust on Skill Building, Women Empowerment and Entrepreneurship

The Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Placement Cell made consistent efforts throughout the year to BOOST INNOVATION, ENTREPRENEURSHIP & START-UP ECO-SYSTEM IN A BIG WAY IN CONSONANCE WITH NEP 2020

A series of workshops were organized in this regards:

1. Workshop on Grooming and Makeup techniques on  (02.03.24)

2. 3-Day Entrepreneurial and Skill Development Workshop (06.02.24 - 08.02.24)

3. Workshop on certified e- Course (04.10.23)

4. Workshop on Pitching Up of Business Idea (19.09.23)

The college also took initiative to provide various platforms to students to “Earn While You Learn” & contribute for Atamnirbhar Bharat Abhiyan.

• Weeklong Entrepreneurial Day celebrations, Diwali Mela, Rakhi Mela and Millet Mela and display in Swavalamban corner on campus.

• Students put up stalls in Udyammi Bazaar In Institutional Innovation Council Regional Meet Organized By MoE, GoI , At P.U. Chandigarh 21.11.23. 

• College got an opportunity to put up stall in 26^th ed.CII Chandigarh Fair of  Northern Region, 2023 held at Parade Ground Sector 17, Chandigarh and Rose Garden & Leisure Valley during 52nd Rose Festival, 2024.

• The Students excelled in Start-Up Idea event organized by SD College, Chandigarh on February 29, 2023.
